Financial Analyst - Films

Support the development and execution of a Cash Management strategy and supporting processes Support planning activities for Film, including coordination with Business Units to prepare the Long Range Plan, annual Budget, forecast updates, and ad hoc analyses Assist with maintaining the company-wide cash planning model Prepare the rolling 13-week cash forecast, including actuals reconciliation and variance analysis Liaise with Accounting and Treasury groups to plan and report actual cash flow weekly Coordinate with Business Units to collect summaries and explanations of actual and forecast results Identify opportunities to streamline data-gathering and forecasting processes Assist in managing risks and opportunities to achieve P&L and cash flow targets Maintain and prepare the physical and Digital Transactional Cash Forecasting Model Assist in preparing ad hoc materials requested by internal management Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2+ years of progressive experience in a financial planning environment Robust financial modeling Excel capabilities Awareness of financial statements Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint Working knowledge of Hyperion and Essbase preferred Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interface with various professionals at all levels Good organizational and time management skills Team player with demonstrated ability to operate in a cross-functional team environment Entertainment or media industry experience strongly preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates strong financial planning and analysis capabilities, with expertise in financial modeling and cash forecasting.
