$25/hr | Temp-to-Hire | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Seeking a patient-focused Financial Counselor with Medi-Cal and Medicaid experience to assist patients with financial assistance programs and payment options. This is a front-facing role that requires direct interaction with patients to help them navigate available resources while ensuring the hospital receives maximum reimbursement for services rendered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with patients to discuss financial obligations and assistance options.
• Assist with Medi-Cal, Medicaid, and other financial aid applications.
• Identify and secure all available sources of financial assistance.
• Help maximize reimbursement for hospital services.
• Provide outstanding customer service and support to patients.

Requirements:

• Experience with Medi-Cal and Medicaid .
• Previous healthcare financial counseling, patient access, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working directly with patients in a hospital setting.
