12PM-9PM Broker Domestic Coordinator Freight Fwd Entry Level Welcome

Job Description

Job Description

About the role
We're looking for a sharp, organized, hardworking person to join our domestic freight team. You'll keep shipments moving across the country, making sure freight gets picked up, tracked, and delivered on time, while being the go-to person for our customers and carriers.

Freight experience is a plus, but not required. Some of our best people came from restaurants, retail, hospitality, and other fast-paced operations. If you can juggle a lot at once, stay calm when things go sideways, and pay attention to the details, we'll teach you the freight side.

What you'll do

• Coordinate, schedule, and track domestic shipments (LTL and FTL) from pickup to delivery
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers and carriers, keeping everyone updated and solving problems as they come up
• Prepare accurate shipping documents, including bills of lading (BOLs), labels, and customer instructions
• Keep shipment records up to date in our transportation management system (TMS) and internal tools
• Work with sales and operations to hand off smoothly between the day, evening, and night shifts

You'll do well here if you:

• Have a track record of showing up, sticking with a job, and taking on more responsibility over time
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can keep several things moving at once
• Communicate clearly and professionally by phone and email
• Are detail-oriented: you catch mistakes before they become problems
• Are comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Want to learn and grow in a career in logistics

Nice to have (not required)

• Experience in freight, logistics, shipping, dispatch, or transportation
• Familiarity with a TMS, freight classes, or accessorial charges
• Background in operations, management, or customer service in a high-volume setting

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12pm–9pm

Pay & benefits

• $25–$30/hour, based on experience
• Health, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k)
• Paid time off

Please submit your resume and be prepared to provide 2–3 professional references , ideally current or former supervisors. References are required and will be checked before any offer.
