Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed, 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Thur, 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting security‑related activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security‑related concerns. Support staff, patients, and visitors with directions and access‑related questions while following post orders and healthcare location protocols. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
