This role works closely with insurance carriers, government payers, and clinic staff to ensure accurate billing, timely reimbursement, denial resolution, and compliance with healthcare billing and coding requirements.Process and monitor billing claims for clinic services, ensuring timely and accurate submission and paymentResearch and resolve unpaid, delayed, or denied insurance claims by identifying billing, coding, coverage, or demographic issuesCommunicate with insurance companies, government payers, and third-party payers to secure reimbursement and resolve claim discrepanciesInvestigate claim denials, determine root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actionsObtain and manage prior authorizations for clinic services as required by insurance carriers and payer guidelinesMaintain accurate billing documentation and ensure compliance with coding standards, payer requirements, and applicable healthcare regulationsRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferredAt least one (1) year of experience in healthcare billing required, three (3) years of experience preferredMedical Billing Certificate preferred Achieve of NY
