Key Responsibilities\n

As a Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to understand clients’ substance abuse history and mental health conditions.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that tackle both addiction and underlying mental health challenges.
  • \n
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that every client receives coordinated and comprehensive care.

  • Provide education and support to clients’ families, fostering their involvement in the therapeutic process and recovery journey.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will work with clients across various demographics, including adults and adolescents from diverse backgrounds. Understanding their unique challenges and tailoring treatment plans to their specific needs is vital in promoting successful recovery outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid and active license in Washington State as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated expertise in substance abuse counseling and mental health treatment.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices for addressing substance use and co-occurring disorders.

  • Strong counseling and therapeutic competencies with a proven ability to motivate clients toward recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
