Telecommunications Specialist - Direct Hire Authority

Duties
Plans and executes the administration and maintenance of transport systems and services specific to Edwards AFB's network infrastructure necessary to support Unified Communications (UC) development and sustainment.
Establishes procedures for transport systems deployment and sustainment; plans and implements convergence of UC services impacting voice, data and video operations, commercial circuits and base TDM, VoSIP and VoIP switch operation and expansion.
Plans for current and future technology integration and works issues for compatibility and standardization based on current and projected needs.
