Job Description

Job Summary:

Certified Surgical Technicians are needed to support eye surgery procedures, along with a variety of other surgical specialties. The role involves assisting during surgeries, maintaining sterile environments, and providing intraoperative support within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary surgical instruments and supplies.
• Assist surgeons during procedures such as cataracts, vitrectomy, scleral buckle, bariatric, pain management, general, urology, ortho, and podiatry surgeries.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Support surgical team with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and post-operative cleanup.
• Participate in on-call weekend rotations to provide after-hours coverage.

Qualifications:

• Strongly prefer certified Surgical Technicians with current certification in NJ.
• Require prior eye surgery experience, including cataracts, vitrectomy, and scleral buckle procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in supporting a variety of surgical specialties.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday with on-call weekend responsibilities.
