This combined Housekeeper & Cook position involves maintaining cleanliness and order in residential areas while preparing meals according to scheduled shifts. The role is split between morning housekeeping duties and evening cooking responsibilities, supporting a combined housekeeping and kitchen team. Candidates must be able to manage multiple priorities, observe details carefully, and communicate effectively while ensuring high standards of hygiene and food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, and sanitize living spaces, bedrooms, kitchen, and restrooms
• Operate laundry machines, fold and hang linens, change bedding, and maintain laundry room
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner using standard kitchen appliances
• Clean kitchen appliances and work areas including dishwasher, stove, microwave, and refrigerator
• Stock and organize food supplies, pantry, and linen
• Receive and sign for delivered packages
• Observe medication and report daily events to supervisor
• Occasionally drive company vehicle for supply runs (rarely required)

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of related experience, including food preparation
• High school diploma or GED
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, exercise good judgment, and solve problems
• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail and observant nature

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in housekeeping and cooking
• Familiarity with laundry operations and food preparation
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license helpful for driving company vehicle

Additional Information

• Preferred work shifts are either morning or evening only
• Part of a combined housekeeping and kitchen team
• Standard kitchen appliances familiarity required
• Travel for supply runs is rare
