The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) organization is currently hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to join our McKinney, TX location. SETC is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and partner with multi-disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our customers. As the Senior Systems Engineer you will join the AMRAAM PUMA Engineering Manufacturing and Development program as a member of the Systems Engineering Team. You will be responsible for systems engineering technical rigor throughout the full systems engineering lifecycle as it applies across a new missile sub-system and component design program. This will include evaluating requirements, coordination across multi-disciplinary teams, sharing program process knowledge, mentoring engineers, and working with the technical and program leads execute systems engineering tasks. This role supports a fast-paced, development critical program. As the Senior Systems Engineer – Systems Engineer, Air Dominance Portfolio, you will have the opportunity to work on development related modeling projects pertinent to the system lifecycle. Current program access, or the ability to obtain, is required to be considered for this position. This role is 100% on-site at our McKinney, TX campus. What You Will Do Review and maintain sub-assembly requirements within DOORS Create, Update, maintain, and improve Cameo diagrams for the new design Guide, support, and document product-based verification test execution Facilitate knowledge transfer within and across IPTs/CPTs to include Cross-Functional collaboration and coordination Support test equipment software integration and verification for system test Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience. Experience in Systems Engineering Experience on Missile Program Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering and associated tools including Cameo and DOORS Experience with Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle Qualifications We Prefer Masters or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics A self-starter who can take on task with limited guidance. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
