Decision Scientist

Position Summary Decision Scientist to create and implement decision models analyzing patient demographics, resource allocation, cost‑effectiveness, and operational optimization, and conduct cost‑benefit analyses to support strategic decisions across healthcare systems. Responsibilities Develop and implement decision models to analyze patient demographics, resource allocation, cost‑effectiveness, and operational optimization. Conduct cost‑benefit analyses of new programs or technologies, quantifying potential risks and benefits. Apply DMN software and analytical techniques to derive actionable insights for critical business decisions. Configure system components to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in large datasets. Evaluate key metrics from healthcare programs, interventions, or policies and recommend improvements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate decision models and support tools into operational workflows. Communicate data‑driven insights to internal stakeholders, advising on medium‑complexity decisions. Consult on the selection, design, and evaluation of decision support systems. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 60 months overall experience in the job or related occupation. Five years of experience in each of the following areas: Writing application code and deploying to production. Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating on software development solutions. Programming in R, Hadoop, or Python, as well as SAS or SQL. CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps. Java, Python, or Node.js. XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.

Agile. Pay Range $141,565.00–$158,620.00 per year. The actual base salary depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors. The role is eligible for bonus, commission, short‑term incentive, and equity award programs.
