A warehouse attendant manages, organizes, and moves stock inside a storage facility or distribution center. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management, and the ability to facilitate a positive culture. This role involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring excellent customer service and managing inventory. The Warehouse Attendant will play a pivotal role in maintaining the warehouse, trucks and equipment.Core ResponsibilitiesUnload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and check items against purchase orders.Place products on racks, shelves, or binsMonitor inventory levels and assist in stock management.Gathering materials and supplies from the stores for colleaguesConduct routine cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies with inventory databases, and monitor stock levels.Keeping the warehouse area clean, tidy and free from unnecessary hazards to uphold health and safetyQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy loads (often 30 to 50+ pounds)Basic understanding of inventory managementAbility to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systemsStrong attention to detail to prevent fulfillment errorsFlexible schedule with availability on weekends and holidays.Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearPrecision Door Service provides residential garage door service.
