Radiation Oncology Locums in Minnesota

All Star Healthcare represents a facility in Minnesota in need of Radiation Oncology locums coverage.

• BC or BE accepted
• BLS required
• Locums will not be working solo, with at least 2 Radiation Oncologists in the department at minimum
• 35-50 patients under treatment across the physician team, with approximately 10-16 patients under treatment per day per MD.
• There is also an average of 3-5 CT sims per day total.
• Locums can expect approximately 2-3 consults per day, four days per week, with no consults typically scheduled on OTV day.
• The follow-up volume is approximately 10-12 per week.
• Consults are scheduled for 60 minutes and follow-ups for 30 minutes
• Required skills include proficiency in EPIC, Varian ARIA, and Eclipse, along with experience using Varian TrueBeam
• A typical schedule includes clinic from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and treatments from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are scheduled for consults, follow-ups, and simulations, with Tuesday reserved as the OTV day for the locum.
•  The locum is expected to be onsite during hours of operation.
