Design - Build Construction Specialist

Responsibilities Lead design-build project delivery teams, integrating engineering, design, and construction disciplines Serve as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and key stakeholders Oversee project planning, execution, and closeout to ensure successful delivery Facilitate collaboration between design and construction teams to optimize schedules, costs, and constructability Provide constructability reviews and value engineering recommendations Support development and execution of design-build proposals and contracts Manage construction activities, including contractor performance, compliance, and quality assurance Monitor project budgets, schedules, and risk factors; implement corrective measures as needed Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication Participate in business development efforts, including pursuits and interviews Represent the firm in industry events and professional organizations Requirements Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC) license (required) Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and/or engineering project delivery Demonstrated experience managing design-build projects Strong knowledge of construction methods, project controls, and contract administration North Carolina Contractor license (preferred, in addition to FL) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience in aviation projects (airports, runways, terminals, support facilities) Background spanning both design and construction environments Experience within an engineering consulting or design-build firm. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
