HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Salem, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 33 Number of Staff – 27 members Type of staff: Dependent of census Day Shift – 5 RNs, 1 clinical coordinator/charge (no patient group) 2-3 techs, 1 unit secretary Night Shift – 5 RNs (Including charge nurse with patient group) 2-3 techs Patient Ratios – 5-6:1 Type of equipment – Baxter IV pumps, EMR – Meditech (EBCD version) Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Medical surgical experience Acute care setting experience Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Oncology experience Chemotherapy experience Best personality Fit: Positive and energetic.
