Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) travel nursing position available in Sioux City, Iowa. This role involves providing specialized clinical care within the intensive care environment, managing complex patient needs including cardiac, trauma, and neurological cases. Candidates are required to bring their licensed credentials on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Sioux City, Iowa
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license for Iowa (Compact Allowed); at least 2 years of previous ICU experience; Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through the AHA, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the AHA, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI); Current license required; First time traveler acceptance allowed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Additional Information: The position involves handling cardiac, trauma, and neuro patients. On-call requirements include every third weekend. The assignment includes on-call pay at $9 per hour and charge/precept pay at $6 per hour. Orientation sessions are scheduled throughout the year, with specific dates provided. Float within the same discipline across local campuses may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must have at least 2 years of ICU experience; certifications are mandatory; prior ICU experience required for extension.
