- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm schedule working in a busy Cardiology practice In person position

- This position is specifically for to serve as a dedicated Phone Triage Nurse for the Electrophysiology (EP) program, supporting patients with heart rhythm disorders and coordinating care across their treatment journey
- Provide specialized telephone triage for electrophysiology patients, assessing arrhythmia-related symptoms, cardiac device concerns (pacemakers/ICDs), and post-procedure recovery needs to ensure timely and appropriate care
- Coordinate electrophysiology patient care by reviewing diagnostic results, addressing medication and treatment questions, and collaborating closely with providers to optimize outcomes for patients with heart rhythm disorders
- Respond to patient calls and electronic messages, prioritize concerns based on clinical urgency, provide education within scope of practice, and ensure timely resolution of patient needs
- Facilitate care coordination by scheduling appropriate appointments, obtaining prior authorizations, processing prescription refills, and supporting continuity of care across the patient journey
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient communications, clinical assessments, and care interventions in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Required Associate's Degree Nursing/Patient Care
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree Nursing/Patient Care
- 1 year Nursing/Patient Care in acute care or ambulatory settings Preferred
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board
