Sales Development Manager - Point of Care Diagnostics - KS/NE/OK/AR

Abbott

Abbott seeks a Sales Development Manager to drive new business acquisition for rapid and molecular diagnostics across Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. This role focuses exclusively on identifying and converting untapped accounts in hospital networks, clinics, and urgent care settings.

Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and convert zero-billing and competitive accounts within territory
Develop and execute strategic territory plans using market intelligence and data analytics
Manage full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing
Maintain accurate sales pipeline and revenue forecasts using CRM and business intelligence tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions and ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
4+ years proven sales experience with competitive conversions
Demonstrated individual contributor experience in complex selling and planning
Willingness to travel 4 days/week within assigned territory with ~50% overnight travel
Medical sales experience, preferably in diagnostics
Understanding of laboratory, point-of-care settings, and health system operations
