Substitute School Nurse
Substitute school nurse applicants must possess a current RN license issued by the State of CT and a current certification in CPR/First Aid. Experience with juvenile diabetes preferred. They must be organized; able to pay attention to detail; possess excellent interpersonal skills; and able to work collaboratively with students, parents and staff.
Responsibilities include:
- First aid
- Record keeping
- Coordinates care for medical emergencies in the office
- Demonstrates excellent observation, assessment, nursing judgment and communication skills
