Lead Housekeeper The Lead Environmental Services coordinates the operations and activities of the Environmental Services Department within assigned hospital and hospital department/campus locations. The Coordinator provides consistent, high-quality service in a sanitary environment while ensuring State, Local, Federal and Joint Commission regulations, established policies and procedures and department standards of performance are met. Responsibilities Evaluates existing systems and processes, initiates changes and improvements, and makes suggestions to Manager. Coordinates the effective operation of all Environmental Services activities to provide an aseptic and aesthetically pleasing environment through supervising all functions of the department. Supports department leadership and acts to achieve the daily operations of the Environmental Services Department assigned areas encompassing but not limited to all patient and non-patient areas of assigned square footage. Provides support for the preparation of department records as well as recurring and special reports and analyses indicating bed management turnaround times as required. Enforces department productivity to assigned goals and objectives to maximize operational efficiency, optimum use of resources and cost minimization. Qualifications High School Diploma (Preferred). Minimum of three years of experience in food services or hospitality (Preferred). Knowledge of hospital and health care operations (Preferred).
