Job Description Respiratory Therapist | Direct Hire Location: Tulsa, OK (Yale Campus) Schedule: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 hrs/week (3x12s) Pay Range: $26 – $38/hour Positions: 2 Openings Role The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services, assesses patient conditions, and implements therapeutic interventions in accordance with hospital policies to monitor and improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assess and deliver respiratory care in critical and non-critical settings Administer respiratory treatments (nebulizer, inhaler, aerosol, oxygen therapy) Manage mechanical ventilation (invasive & non-invasive) Assist with intubation, extubation, bronchoscopy, and suctioning Monitor patient response and adjust ventilator settings Document clinical information and verify physician orders Respond to Code Blue/RRT calls and patient transports Collaborate with healthcare teams and support patient care quality initiatives Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program CRT or RRT (NBRC) Certification Valid Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License or temporary permit BLS certification within 2 months of hire Key Skills Mechanical ventilation, airway management, CPR, chest physiotherapy, pulse oximetry, respiratory diagnostics, and strong communication/documentation skills.
