Job Summary : Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 56-bed Medical-Surgical/Oncology unit providing care to adult patients (18 ). The unit manages a mixed-acuity population including oncology, hematology, nephrology, endocrine, GI, dermatology, ESRD, diabetes, and general medicine cases.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg/Oncology setting
Manage complex medical diagnoses including cancer care, ESRD, GI disorders, and chronic disease conditions
Administer IV therapies, chemotherapy-related care (if certified), and supportive treatments
Monitor and manage patients with chest tubes, NG tubes, specialty beds, and IV pumps
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for care planning and discharge coordination
Float to other units as required
Document patient care using EPIC EMR

Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 2 years recent experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Oncology nursing
Travel nursing experience required
Strong clinical skills in med-surg patient management
Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity environment
Experience with oncology and hematology patients strongly preferred

Required Certifications & Licensure
Active New York State RN License (NURSYS verified)
AHA BLS Certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Chemotherapy Certification required
Valid driver's license matching candidate demographics
