As a Security Guard Full Time TWIC Patrol Inspection in Norfolk, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to concerns and documenting observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and port personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned maritime facilities, buildings, parking areas, waterfront perimeters, gates, and other designated areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with supervisors, client representatives, and public service partners as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
