Housekeeper

Description SCHEDULE: 40 hours, Sunday -Thursday 11am-7:30pm and 40 Hours, Tuesday - Saturday 11am-7:30pm PAYS $20.00 - $21.20 per hour, DOE (Salary ranges provided are based on relevant experience and skill set) LOCATIONS : Within the following Boston MA work sites: Food Service Building; 414 Harrison Ave.; 434 Harrison Ave.; 444 Harrison Ave.; 363 Albany St. Summary of Position The Housekeeper will perform daily Bathroom/Lobby Attendant – Men’s Inn, weekly, and monthly laundering and cleaning responsibilities as determined by the Supervisor. Qualifications Must be able to work comfortably in the Men’s Inn bathrooms when in full use – cleaning would take place while in use. Education / Training

REQUIRED:

High school Diploma or GED Ability to read and understand printed labels, signage, and instructions The ability to understand and speak English Knowledge / Experience

REQUIRED:

Minimum of six (6) months of institutional or commercial industry cleaning

PREFERRED:

Knowledge of industry standards as applied to Sanitation and General Procedures Physical Abilities / Skills

REQUIRED:

Ability to perform frequent bending, standing, stooping, stretching and walking Ability to turn over twenty-five (25) pound mattress for cleaning Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds Ability to perform frequent and repetitive motions to perform all types of cleaning functions #J-18808-Ljbffr Pine Street Inn Inc.
