Backwaiter

We are a fine dining restaurant seeking a skilled and attentive Backwaiter / Food Runner to support our front-of-house team. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of service, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of dishes, and upholding the highest standards of guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist servers in providing seamless, high-quality service to guests
• Deliver food from the kitchen to tables promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation
• Describe dishes when needed and respond knowledgeably to guest inquiries
• Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized dining room
• Refill water, polish glassware, and assist with bread or table service as required
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold all sanitation, safety, and fine dining service standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment
• Fluency in English is required
• Strong understanding of fine dining service etiquette and standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure
