Security Officer Driving Role Patrol Guard Milpitas, CA Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM Tue: 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM Wed: 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM Thu: 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, dock doors, parking areas, warehouse perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and suspicious activity according to post instructions. Complete required reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, deliveries, and/or observations while following site procedures and Allied Universal standards. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
