| New Iberia, LA | $20-$23/hr. | Full-Time Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, masking, and sandblasting.
- Operate industrial blasting and painting equipment safely.
- Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings according to specifications.
- Inspect completed work to verify coating quality, coverage, and finish.
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Read and follow work orders, drawings, and coating specifications.
- Assist with material handling and support production schedules.
- Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
- Industrial blasting and painting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial coatings, surface preparation, and painting techniques.
- Ability to safely operate blasting and painting equipment.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and PPE requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the worksite.
- Must be available to start immediately after hire.
- Must wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and cotton shirts.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb frequently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment.
- Must wear required PPE, including respirators and protective clothing.
- Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-6:00 PM with a one-hour lunch. Some Saturdays may be required until noon.
- $20-$23 per hour, based on experience.
