As a GenAI Developer, you will work alongside established technical and consulting teams supporting agencies such as the FAA, HUD, and USDA, with opportunities to contribute across multiple federal programs as needed. This is a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment focused on taking emerging AI capabilities beyond experimentation and into scalable, production-ready solutions that support real government missions and end users. You will gain exposure to modern AI and application development, working on technology that directly impacts federal initiatives.WHAT YOU'LL DODevelop and enhance AI-enabled web applications supporting federal government programsContribute across the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and production supportIntegrate generative AI models and capabilities into scalable, user-facing applicationsBuild and support both front-end and back-end components within modern application environmentsDevelop and integrate APIs connecting applications, AI models, and supporting servicesCollaborate with developers, AI/ML engineers, product teams, and other technical stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutionsSupport ongoing improvement and scalability of applications as program and user needs evolveDeploy and support applications within cloud environments such as AWS or AzureApply best practices for security, compliance, and performance in federal technology environmentsWHAT YOU BRINGBachelor’s degreeActive Security Clearance (Public Trust, Secret, TS/SCI, etc.)3 to 5 years of professional software or application development experienceExperience across the full software development lifecycle (build, test, deploy, support)Hands-on front-end development with JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks like React or Next.jsBackend development experience with Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Node.js, or similarExperience integrating generative AI or large language models into applicationsExperience developing and integrating APIs within web-based applicationsExperience deploying or supporting applications in AWS, Azure, or other cloud environmentsNICE TO HAVEActive DOT Public TrustExperience supporting federal government programs or working in federal technology environmentsExperience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) Experience with vector databases Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source large language modelsExperience with model fine tuning or AI inference optimization Background combining software development with data science or machine learning #LI-EK1
