Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940–$2,040 Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Start Date: 11/2/2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights) Hours Per Week: 36 Weekend Coverage: Rotating weekends, minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week block Orientation: 36 hours Patient Ratios: 1:2 Patient Population: Adult critical care patients Job Requirements Active RN license in hand at time of submission 2 years of cardiac ICU experience preferred BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required Epic charting experience required Experience with advanced cardiac critical care skills, including ventilators, telemetry, vasoactive drips, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz monitoring, and blood product administration Ability to float within equivalent or lower-acuity units as needed Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills Responsibilities Deliver high-quality care to critically ill cardiovascular patients with complex and changing needs Monitor hemodynamics, interpret rhythms, and respond quickly to acute changes in patient condition Manage advanced therapies and equipment such as ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD/RVAD, CRRT, temporary pacemakers, and ventilators Care for post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, and transplant cases Titrate cardiac and vasoactive infusions according to patient status and unit protocols Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal outcomes Document accurately in Epic and maintain a safe, organized, patient-focused care environment Apply now for this Columbus, Ohio CVICU travel nursing opportunity and join a dedicated healthcare team today.
