The team is establishing enterprise project management and establishing planning & prioritization processes. Leads complex, enterprise-wide initiatives with full ownership from intake through delivery—connecting workstreams across technical and functional teams to ensure aligned, outcomes-driven execution. Operates with a high degree of autonomy, proactively identifying risks, gaps, and interdependencies across projects. Functions as a peer leader who influences without authority, aligning stakeholders across Business, Product, Technology, Operations, and Go-To-Market teams to deliver cohesive business outcomes—not just individual project milestones.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEssential FunctionsOwn end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream initiatives, ensuring alignment from intake through execution and delivery outcomesIntegrate and connect cross-functional workstreams (technical and functional), proactively identifying dependencies, gaps, and blind spots across projectsTranslate business strategy into executable project plans, ensuring alignment across Business, Product, Technology, Operations, and Go-To-Market teamsDevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, sequencing, ownership, resources, and timelines to ensure successful execution utilizing the Basys PMO FrameworkDrive accountability across teams and vendors, ensuring commitments are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality expectationsIdentify risks, issues, and execution gaps early, leading mitigation planning and driving resolution with appropriate escalation when neededInfluence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority, aligning teams around shared objectives, challenging assumptions, clarifying ambiguity, and ensuring ownership gaps are addressedEstablish clear and proactive communication frameworks, providing actionable updates, risks, trade-offs, and decisions to stakeholders and leadershipAdditional ResponsibilitiesLeverage project and product tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Roadmunk, workflow tools) to manage execution visibility and coordination at scaleUtilize Microsoft tools (including AI capabilities) to enhance planning, reporting, and day-to-day operational efficiencyFacilitate risk reviews, status reviews, and cross-functional working sessions to maintain alignment and execution momentumContribute to resource planning and prioritization discussions, identifying capacity constraints and sequencing opportunities across initiativesDevelop and maintain project documentation, reporting artifacts, and process improvements to support consistency and scalabilityContinuously improve delivery processes and operating models, identifying opportunities to streamline execution and reduce inefficienciesRequirementsThis role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to 2 days per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.Education & ExperienceAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree Preferred5+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional projects or programsDemonstrated ability to manage multi-workstream enterprise initiativesStrong understanding of both technical delivery and business operationsProven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authorityExperience with project/product tools (JIRA, Asana, Roadmunk or similar)Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency preferredExperience in financial services, payments, or regulated environments preferredPMP, Agile, or SAFe certification preferredBasys provides technology and payment integration solutions for businesses across the country and Canada.
