About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Credit Review. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing independent exams to evaluate the credit and financial strength of borrowers, ensuring that internal ratings and levels of credit exposure are in line with acceptable standards. This role involves continuous monitoring of credit portfolios, documenting findings, and communicating them to management and the Audit Committee of the Board. The VP will also be tasked with preparing work papers, monitoring adherence to documentation and risk mitigants, and ensuring that all exams are conducted in compliance with established policies and procedures. Applicants for the Vice President, Credit Review position at the company should have a strong background in credit analysis and risk management. The role requires the ability to analyze complex financial data, formulate conclusions, and provide strategic advice. Experience in credit review of various business verticals, including project finance, infrastructure finance, and municipal finance, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in monitoring and assessing credit portfolios, as well as a deep understanding of the associated documentation, limits, and risk mitigants. A detail-oriented approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams are also key requirements for this role.
