Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents
- Conduct occupational therapy treatments, including exercises, activities, and interventions
- Monitor and record progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to provide comprehensive care and support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress
- Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers to promote independence and wellness
- 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
- Current certification/licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Missouri.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
