Follows standard work methods on recurring assignments but receives explicit instructions on unfamiliar assignments. Technical adequacy of routine work is reviewed on completion. Non-routine work may also be reviewed in progress. At this level, performs one or a combination of the following typical duties:Following specific instructions, assembles or constructs simple or standard equipment or parts; may service or repair simple instruments or equipment.Conducts a variety of tests using established methods. Prepares test specimens, adjusts and operates equipment, and records test data, pointing out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or observed errors.Extracts engineering data from various prescribed but non standardized sources; processes the data following well-defined methods including elementary algebra and geometry; presents data in prescribed form.REQUIREMENTS1 year of work-related experience in electrical/electronic systems.A minimum Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSA high school/vocational school diploma or GED certificate.BENEFITSWe also offer bonuses that are awarded quarterly to our employees and our compensation rates are highly competitive.We offer a comprehensive Health Benefits package and 401K retirement plan so you can take care of yourself and your family, now and in the future.
