Mechanical Assembler

Mechanical Assembler – Brenton Division Location: Alexandria, MN – First Shift. Responsibilities Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and some electrical assembly operations. Read and understand assembly drawings, adhere to customer specifications, and assist in testing and final adjustments of the machine. Fit and align all components on a machine, following and adhering to Brenton/Orion quality and assembly standards. Maintain forklift certification. Lube lines, cams, adjust gearboxes and drive lines, motors, chain, and sprockets. Assist customer personnel in installation, start‑up, and training of Orion machines and systems. Qualifications Preferred: 2‑year technical college degree with 2‑4 years of mechanical assembly experience. Excellent mechanical/electrical capability or capacity to learn quickly. Solid mechanical problem‑solving skills. Potential to be a motivator/leader. Professional communication, attitude, and image. Strong verbal and written presentation skills, good organization, planning, and interpersonal skills. Compensation & Benefits Base hourly range: $20.00–$29.00.
