Overview Pay Range: $60.00/hr - $100.00/hr (Based on skill and experience) Openings: 1 Location: Remote candidates near Denso facilities within driving distance to Southfield, Michigan or Plano, Texas (travel to a Denso location every 4‑6 weeks; onsite first week) Duration: 1‑year contract with extensions/possible conversion Responsibilities Senior FPGA Engineer for a global manufacturing and supplier client specializing in high‑accuracy micro‑location technologies. Architect and implement FPGA‑based solutions to support real‑time, high‑accuracy micro‑location systems. Incorporate advanced DSP and IQ radio processing algorithms that enable centimeter‑level precision in dynamic environments. Streamline FPGA resource usage for high‑speed interfaces and precision timing applications. Partner with cross‑functional teams—hardware, software, RF, and product design—to explore new approaches for micro‑location accuracy and robustness. Investigate emerging technologies and industry trends in signal processing, radio interfaces, and localization methods. Rapidly prototype cutting‑edge concepts and translate them into viable, production‑ready solutions. Qualifications Must Haves: At least 8+ years of experience with FPGA’s (Verilog shop) Experience creating code from scratch Strong knowledge of Verilog and VHDL with the ability to program into FPGA Plusses: Experience translating MATLAB code to FPGA Background with algorithms Benefits Benefit packages start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401(k) retirement account access with employer matching.
