Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, urgent care environment. Ensures patient safety, implements emergent interventions, and supports smooth department operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and rapid interventions as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to signs of deterioration promptly.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health education.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required.
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations with critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse patients.
• Demonstrated proficiency in emergency clinical procedures and protocols.
