Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Description A boutique dental office looking for a friendly and skilled Hygienist to be part of our team to start Friday and Saturdays. We stress the importance of patient care because patients are the reason we are here. I would prefer a Chinese speaking candidate due to our patient pool. Essential duties include: Performs prophylaxis, SRP, local anesthesia, impressions, whitening, etc. Instructs patients on oral hygiene and has a plaque control program. Screens for oral cancer. Assists in and encourages patients to attend follow-up visits. Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Takes dental x-rays on patients. Documents dental care services by charting in patient records and clear clinical notes. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
