Senior AccountantAre you a detail-oriented and driven individual with a strong background in accounting? Express Employment Professionals, Anaheim South, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant for our client located in Anaheim. As a Contract Senior Accountant you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial processes for our clients in South Anaheim and the surrounding areas.Responsibilities:Prepare and record asset, liability revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account informationMaintain general ledger and balance/transfer subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactionsDevelop accounting standards and procedures to assure uniform accounting practices, internal controls, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsMaintain financial security by following internal controls, verifying documentation, requesting disbursements, and upholding confidentialityReport on the organization's finances to management, and offer suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecastsCollect information to summarize the company's financial statusPrepare balance sheets and profit/loss statementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred or equivalent experienceProven experience as a Senior AccountantExperience with in-depth analysis of general ledger activityKnowledge of GAAPProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.Ability to multi-task in a high pace environment.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and vendors professionally.High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.How to Apply:Email your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io our office at (714) 617-1812Visit our office at 101 E.
