Registered Dental Hygienist – Tuscaloosa, AL Join a Modern, Patient-Focused Dental Practice We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice in Tuscaloosa, AL. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates, although full-time is preferred. Our office features advanced technology, a strong patient base, a supportive team environment, and systems designed to promote work-life balance and prevent burnout. You'll be joining a team of two dentists and eight dedicated team members who are committed to providing exceptional patient care. Schedule Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Friday shifts are rotated among hygienists, allowing for additional Fridays off throughout the year. Duties & Responsibilities Provide exceptional patient care and education Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and prophylaxis Conduct periodontal charting, probing, and therapy Take digital radiographs and cone beam CT scans Capture digital photography as needed Apply sealants and preventive treatments Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide comprehensive patient care Requirements Active Dental Hygienist license Previous hygiene experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Honest, dependable, and professional Friendly, positive attitude Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work well within a team environment Dentrix experience is a plus Pay & Compensation $25-$35 per hour Bonuses and incentive opportunities SIMPLE IRA with employer match Paid vacation and personal leave Paid continuing education Uniforms provided Flexible scheduling options Dedicated lunch hour Never asked to clock out early Strong work-life balance Healthy and supportive work environment Why Join Our Team?
