About the Role:

Michelle Hayes Thomas Insurance Agency is looking for a motivated and personable Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing team in Memphis, TN. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career helping clients protect what matters most — while earning competitive commissions in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect and generate new client leads through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach
• Consult with clients to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
• Sell and service personal and/or commercial insurance policies
• Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships to drive retention and renewals
• Process policy applications, endorsements, and changes accurately and efficiently
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and performance goals
• Stay current on insurance products, industry trends, and state regulations

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee Property & Casualty license and Life license is a bonus
• Prior experience in insurance sales, financial services, or a related field preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales goals
• Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer applications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree a plus
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
