Requirements / Qualifications

The Bus Driver 1 requires a Type 2 Certification. Class B Driver's license with passenger endorsement with no restrictions that would preclude driving on the job. Possession of a California Highway Patrol School Bus Driver's certificate with no restrictions which would preclude driving on the job. Department of Transportation Medical Certificate Two Letters of Recommendation. Copies of the required documents should be included with the application packet. EXAMINATION PROCEDURES: Following the recruitment closing date, the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated. Those who pass screening will be invited to participate in a written examination, DATE :TBD Those who pass the written examination will be invited to a Performance and Interview Panel with subject matter experts, Date: TBD. Based on the final scores, a ranked candidate list will be established. Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a final interview with the hiring administrator. Therefore, it is recommended that candidates check their email at least daily.
