Position Details Security Professional Flex Officer – Full Time – Flex Pay rate: $23.25 / hour Shifts available: Saturday – Sunday 4 PM – Midnight; Monday – Wednesday Noon – 8 PM. Open availability is required to cover morning, evening, and overnight shifts. Must have previous GSOC experience. Job Overview The Security Professional Flex Officer safeguards clients across a range of industries including Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more. You will use our shift‑pickup platform to view and claim open shifts that fit your availability, giving you flexibility while gaining valuable site experience. Responsibilities Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle. Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards. Sound alarms and call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles. Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits. Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property meets client requirements. Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required. Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders. Qualifications (Must Have) High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience. Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer‑owned vehicle. Subject to background investigation and drug screening as required by law. No prior experience required. Minimum age 18; 21 if armed. Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments. Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors. Demonstrated courtesy and communication with the public. Effective oral and written communication; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately. Active listening and problem‑solving skills. Assessment and evaluation of situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately. Conflict mediation with tact and diplomacy. Teamwork and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic). Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.
