Phlebotomist III - FloaterPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist III - Floater to support our client's medical facility in Neptune, NJ 07753. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity, and it's a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Location: Neptune NJ 07753Duration: 3 Months+Pay rate: $22 - 26 hourlySchedule: The hours will be: 7:00am-5:00pm EST-Possible alt Sat 7:00am-12:00pmThe salary is determined by an individual's level of experience, as well as any relevant licenses and certifications they may hold.Key Responsibilities:Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.Collects and stores specimens in accordance with established procedures.Properly explain in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required.Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
