Senior Revenue Accountant About the Role Clipboard Health is expanding to support our growth by adding a high-performing Senior Revenue Accountant to the Finance team! Reporting to our Manager of Revenue Accounting, you will assist with managing month‑end close, including the preparation and posting of journals, and will lead various process‑improvement projects related to revenue and accounts receivable. You will collaborate closely with the broader Finance team to implement efficient accounting procedures and provide clear communication and organization to ensure the company’s consolidated financial statements are prepared on time and accurately. Responsibilities Prepare and book journal entries to ensure appropriate revenue, cost, and AR treatments. Complete ASC 606 analyses for new revenue streams. Assist with monthly accounting close, analyze fluctuations, and provide meaningful financial reporting. Understand relevant accounting principles and communicate such principles to peers and business partners, primarily in written form. Analyze current procedures and make recommendations to develop and drive process improvements to achieve efficiency and scalability. Operate with minimum supervision. Support the external audit process and create improvements for any inefficiencies identified. Assist in implementation, maintenance, and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. Prepare internal reporting and handle special projects on request. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience. Advanced MS Excel skills and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition. Master’s degree in accounting or equivalent field. CPA. Recent audit experience. Experience in a technology or high‑growth company operating in a SOX environment. Experience with NetSuite. Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Hex, and/or Metabase is a bonus. You’ll be a great fit if you have First‑principles mindset – you break down a complex problem into its most basic foundational elements and build from there. Extreme curiosity – not satisfied with easy or convenient answers, you drive issues to root cause. Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions.
