Aircraft Structures Mechanic

We are seeking experienced Aircraft Structural Mechanics to join a high-impact AC-130 maintenance program. This role involves interior structural work, with some exterior tasks, focused on maintaining and modifying AC-130 aircraft to meet operational standards. Candidates should take pride in their craftsmanship, understand quality expectations, and uphold safety and cleanliness protocols. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and install brackets and doublers on C-130 platforms Perform interior structure maintenance and modification Execute solid rivet installations with precision Understand and apply edge distance principles and structural tolerances Follow FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention and "clean as you go" practices Assess work quality beyond relying solely on inspection or QA feedback Stand behind your maintenance with accountability and pride Requirements 5+ years of structural experience on military aircraft Familiarity with technical data, maintenance manuals, and blueprint reading Prior military aviation or defense contractor experience is a strong plus Ability to work independently and in a team, with minimal oversight Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset D.O.M. magazine is the premier magazine for aviation maintenance management professionals.
