Job Title: Case Manager Location: UNG - Gainesville Type: Regular Employment: Full‑Time Job ID: 299886 Job Summary The Case Manager serves as a non‑clinical advocate and case manager for undergraduate and graduate students at UNG. The position is located in Gainesville but supports students of concern across all six UNG campuses. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of mild to elevated level concerns, providing individualized care, tailored intervention, and consistent follow‑up. Facilitate referrals to on‑ and off‑campus services for students facing complex or unforeseen circumstances. Advocate for students with instructors as appropriate, ensuring their needs are communicated and addressed. Consult collaboratively with UNG offices, community organizations, and family members to assist students with concerns impacting their progress. Create and sustain campaign efforts to educate faculty and staff on supporting students of concern. Deliver proactive messaging and educational outreach to promote student well‑being, mental health awareness, and academic resources. Maintain student case files in Maxient, ensuring records are kept in accordance with university policies and regulations. Assist with data analysis to identify evolving issues impacting student success. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Familiarity with support services within higher education or community settings. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in social work, higher education, counseling, or related field. Minimum one year of experience with student issues in residence life, orientation, advising, student counseling, or case management. Proposed Salary Starting salary: $54,778.
