As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Culpeper, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a cutting-edge tech location as an armed patrol professional, helping monitor and patrol assigned areas while staying visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, data areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and support visitor, delivery, and contractor processing in line with site protocols.
• Support incident follow-up by preparing clear reports, preserving relevant details, and coordinating with local responders and/or site management when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO is required.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
