Current RN license in the state of practice or compact license eligibility At least 1 year of registered nurse experience required ACLS required within 6 months of hire BLS required NIH Stroke Certification required Dysrhythmia exam required Neuro or stroke experience preferred Experience in acute care, stepdown, or PCU nursing preferred Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients in a progressive care/stepdown environment Perform comprehensive assessments, identify priorities, and develop individualized plans of care Administer medications safely and in alignment with professional standards and unit protocols Monitor and respond to changing patient conditions with sound clinical judgment Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families Care for patients requiring cardiac drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and chest tube management Support patients with advanced respiratory needs, temporary pacing, and conscious sedation when indicated Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice Deliver compassionate care while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced hospital setting Apply now
