Housekeepers

Full and part‑time Housekeeper at Southtowns Care Center, a long‑term skilled nursing facility in Erie, New York. Responsibilities Receives instructions, assembles cleaning supplies and equipment, follows workflow. Sweeps, mops and washes floors. Washes walls, ceilings, windows; cleans trash receptacles. Changes mattresses, washes doors, elevator doors, air outlet grilles. Vacuum rugs and spot clean as needed. Dust surfaces including desks, tables, chairs, shelves, cabinets, sills. Clean toilets, urinals, mirrors, handrails, sinks, plumbing fixtures. Clean and disinfect beds, wheelchairs, commodes. Clean louver drapes. Sweep, mop and wax floors, polish with buffing machine as necessary. Move furniture to access rooms and areas. Clean lighting fixtures, top of windows, door frames, other high places with ladder. Shovel snow and clear sidewalks in inclement weather for next shift. Replenish supplies as needed. Perform all related work as assigned. Qualifications Any equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties listed above. Physical Demands Frequent walking, sitting, talking or hearing. Occasionally use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. Must lift or move up to 100 pounds. Requires good vision, color, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
