Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Summary:

Shift Hours: 3:30 pm-2:30 am Monday - Thursday
Location: Carol Stream

Responsibilities:

Follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state.
Operate forklift with care and awareness of people and the environment around the machine.
Ensure forklift is properly stored, fueled, cleaned, and ready to operate.
Perform maintenance on the machine as needed.
Follow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks.
Move inventory and materials across facilities.
Stack and organize large bulk items.
Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and deliver to the proper location.
Carry inventory for shipping to the proper truck.
Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations.
Make note and request any damaged parts or replacements needed.
Submit inventory records and log at the close of the day.
Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

High school degree or equivalent.
Able to operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift.
The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

Minimum two years of experience working with heavy machinery, forklifts, or other related equipment.
